Effective January 29, 2025, I will be REMOVING all my ebooks from Amazon Kindle. This is not a decision I have come to lightly. My ebooks have been on Amazon Kindle since 2012 or earlier, and I have been happy to adapt and adjust with every curveball they have thrown at authors. But Amazon has issued some new guidelines in favor of generative A.I. that I believe will hurt me as a self-published author. You can read more about it on Writer Beware for details. Many people are choosing to keep their ebooks on Amazon Kindle, and that’s wonderful. I’m glad they are confident in that decision for themselves. I need to make the choice that I believe is right for my own writing. 

My paperback/hardback books WILL STILL BE AVAILABLE through Amazon. That isn’t changing. It is only my ebooks that I am removing. 

In the future, if you want one of my ebooks, you can find them on my Direct Storefront. You can purchase them there very easily, and there are instructions for how to deliver them to your electronic reading device (I actually make more per sale that way too). 

That means you have until Monday, January 29, 2025 to get my books from Amazon directly. After then, you will need to go to my online shop.
