Real Kansas sunflower

DSC_2783A sunflower blossoms at Safe Haven Farm. Around this time of year and the beginning of September, Kansas is full of blooming sunflowers. Not the cultivated ones people get edible seeds from. No, these are wild. Weeds actually. And they’re absolutely beautiful. They always make me feel so happy when I see them.
