On the road again …

So I’m leaving this evening for one of the best writing workshops I’ve ever been to: Glen Eyrie Writing Workshop.

Glen Eyrie Castle - Colorado Springs, CO
Glen Eyrie Castle – Colorado Springs, CO

Whether you’re a Christian or not, I really recommend this event. It’s small, inexpensive, personal, fun and professional. And the grounds arebeautiful.

I’m super excited. If I have the time, I’ll try to post some of the things that I learn. I’ve signed up for sessions led by a gentleman named Mark Mynheir.

Write This Down…Like a Cop. Mark Mynheir is gifted at using real-world experience and humor to help students understand the deeper elements of character development and the intricacies of plot twists and turns.

I’m excited about his breakout because I’ve actually been working on a crime novel, so I’m eager to get his perspective on writing.

In any case, I may be posting more frequently than normal. However, they do keep us really busy, so maybe not! =)

But I can guarantee I’ll know more about writing by this time Thursday!

A.C. Williams

Amy Williams left a lucrative career in marketing to write novels about space cowboys, clumsy church secretaries, American samurai, and alternate dimensions. Along the way, she also discovered a passion for teaching other creative professionals how to use technology to make life easier. Through video instruction or one-on-one coaching, she teaches software, blogging, basic graphic design, and many other useful skills that help creative entrepreneurs get stuff done minus the frustration.
