Mom’s hand post surgery

mom_hand This is my mom’s hand after she had emergency surgery at the St. Francis Medical Center in Colorado Springs last Tuesday night. Yes, there are still five fingers in there, in spite of the fact this photo makes her look like a mutant turtle (or a Sontaran for the Whovians). Keep your eyes peeled for a story about this someday soon because, seriously, I can’t make this stuff up. I think I’m going to start a new category on this blog: Life With Retired Parents. Trust me. It’s never boring.

A.C. Williams

Amy Williams left a lucrative career in marketing to write novels about space cowboys, clumsy church secretaries, American samurai, and alternate dimensions. Along the way, she also discovered a passion for teaching other creative professionals how to use technology to make life easier. Through video instruction or one-on-one coaching, she teaches software, blogging, basic graphic design, and many other useful skills that help creative entrepreneurs get stuff done minus the frustration.
