Home is the best place when you’re sick

Behold! The location I haven’t left since last Thursday night. I’ve been wrapped up in my old quilt with my blanket, my inhaler, a bottle of water, and (most recently) a jar of Vicks vapor rub. At long last, I’m starting to fill somewhat human again, though I still sound like a bass singer in a gospel quartet.

I have high hopes I will be up and around by this coming Wednesday, but I’m not sure I want to inflict my hacking, disgusting coughs on the general population, whether I’m contagious or not.
