Not really. If it had been 2260, I’m sure there would have been lasers, alcohol from other planets, and spaceships. Alas. We only had lattes and bierocks, but they were tasty.
That was how the day went! Steady and tons of fun. Several New Names went out the door. Some started reading immediately. A reader even showed up and asked if I could sign his Kindle.
I have a couple of ideas about that. 🙂
It was encouraging to see so many books go out the door, and it was so much fun to chat with readers about their favorite characters and moments. We also chatted about some not-so-favorite moments (i.e. almost all of Namesake), and I was glad to be able to tell people that New Name is significantly happier.
Thanks so much to Twisted Java Coffee Bar for hosting me. I think this is something we should definitely do again. And, as always, many thanks to my dad who helps me sort out numbers and accounting. I can’t make enough cookies to express how grateful I am.
We’re planning another event like this in February, probably. Maybe at Meads, but I don’t know yet.
But if you really want to support my writing, it helps me more if you purchase directly from me.
So I’m available throughout December to deliver books. I can meet you too.
And, plus, there’s a really awesome deal going on right now at Crosshair Press. If you buy all three books in the Destiny Trilogy, you can get them all for $50 (nearly $60 value), and I’ll throw in a book of AlwaysPeachy Devotionals for free.
Also, another option that’s pretty exciting: If you buy all six titles in the whole library from Crosshair/Steel Rigg, you can get them for $100 (a $133 value) and you’ll get some devotional books free too.
Seriously, this is a great deal, and I’m not sure how long it’ll be available. So jump on it now!
Thanks again to everyone who made the Destiny Trilogy possible. It’s been a crazy awesome ride for the last 15 years. And the story isn’t finished yet. More adventures are coming. Stay tuned!
