Want to be part of a [digital] book tour?

One of my big plans for 2017 was a multi-state book tour that I was going to set up in friends’ houses. Well, 2017 has continued to increase in general busyness that I don’t have enough time to get to all those locations this year. So those plans are officially on hold until next year. But that doesn’t mean I won’t be going on tour. The tour I’m doing will be digital instead.

What is a blog tour?

I really hadn’t heard anything about blog tours until a few years ago, and even then I wasn’t sure what they were. In case you don’t know, a blog tour is basically like a book tour, except on blogs. Blog owners across the web feature interviews and other information about the novel. It’s a great way to introduce the book and author to a new audience of readers.

So that’s what happening from February 27 through March 11—a blog tour to celebrate the release of New Name: The Destiny Trilogy Part Three!

What’s most exciting? I’m actually partnering with a blog tour company for this event! Laura Grace at God’s Grace Blog Tours is so much fun to work with, and she’s been a huge encouragement. I can’t wait to get started.

So what can you expect?

You can expect a lot of fun information and random bits from the Destiny Trilogy. I’ve had some really fun interviews so far with some really creative questions, so you can totally look forward to reading those.

Also, you can start getting excited about the final event—a giant Facebook Party on March 11, with guest authors Morgan Busse and Janeen Ippolito!

Morgan Busse

Morgan is a really dear friend with such a kind heart. She was a major encouragement to me and the other ladies at Crosshair Press when we were just starting. And she’s been there to give us some great advice along the way. Not to mention that she’s also an amazing storyteller too. If you’re looking for a wonderful fantasy series, you should read her Followers of the Word trilogy. And if you want a steampunk book that’s so captivating you won’t be able to put it down, you should read Tainted. Just saying.

Janeen Ippolito

Janeen is another very good friend who totally gets trying to hold down a full-time job and a small press company at the same time! She’s one of the founders of Uncommon Universes Press, and she’s the author of their debut title, Blood Mercy: Thicker than Water. What’s awesome about Blood Mercy is that they have a graphic designer on staff who designs all their covers! So cool!

What can you do?

If not, just watch for an invite to the Facebook Party on March 11. There will be fun, games, and some really epic prizes. Like a free ebook. And a free signed softcover. And a Kindle Fire with the entire Morningstar Series loaded on it.

Just epicness.

So keep your ears open and get ready for some awesome!
