Mom and I spent the weekend working on crockpot apple butter, which turned out fabulous, but another holiday favorite around Safe Haven Farm is what some folks call Texas Christmas Pickles.
Generally we’ve just called them the “hot, sweet, crispy pickles.” But you could probably also refer to them as “Anti-Vampire Pickles.” Seriously, these pickles have so much freakin’ garlic in them, you need a couple of packs of gum after you eat them….
But if you like garlic and you like Louisiana hot sauce and you like pickles (of course, you’d have to like pickles), you’d LOVE these things. And they’re so easy! I’ll put the recipe up on Saturday, so be on the lookout!
